We were in Atlanta August 2 and 3 to record a second album of music by Bill Hearn & Scott Plato, The Hearn — Plato Classical Guitar Duo. The album was recorded in the natural acoustics of Pleasant Hill Presbyterian Church using our vintage Neumann KM264 microphones and vacuum tube mic preamps. In the planning for the past year, this album (Palatine PL 9-0504) features the music of Carulli and Scarlatti on guitar, as well as the music of Piccinini performed on Theorbo.

Karen Kushner's new album (Palatine PL 9-0302) is being edited and will be out early in 2005. To call it exciting is a gross understatement. The album contaiins nearly eighty minutes of Karen's artistry and includes Clara Schumann's piano sonata, Brahms Piano Sonata #1 and Robert Schumann's Kreisleriana.
